Virtual Schools training: Literacy and Learning

Literacy and Learning

Aims:

• For Social Workers working with children in care to develop their understanding of children’s learning and literacy development so that they can effectively contribute to PEPs and work with school staff to meet children’s needs.
• We will share information about how children learn to read, how to tackle any difficulties, what dyslexia is and how this is assessed and different types of assessments that will provide information about how children learn best.
