HSCP Perinatal Mental Health Awareness Training

Objectives:

Members of the long established Parent Infant Psychology service (PIPS) are looking forward to providing training in this important area of mental health. We are hoping that the session with enable colleagues across the borough to feel more confident in understanding the importance of mental health during the perinatal period for all in the family, and how the experience of becoming a parent can impact on mental health and relationships, as well signposting and clarifying the local Haringey Perinatal and Parent Infant mental health offer for parents and babies. There will be time for discussion and consultation, as well as some clinical case examples to illustrate the work being offered across the borough.
