Holistic Outcomes in Education, Health and Care Plans, E-learning from the Council for Disabled Children
This training is aimed at adults with a role to play in the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) system.
The course will help you understand the system as a whole and how all adults have a part to play in supporting good outcomes.
You will learn:
- How aspirations act as the golden thread through the plan
- The importance of children and young people's voice throughout the plan
- What outcomes mean to children and young people, parents and professionals, and how we can bring these all together
- How advice makes bridges the gap between needs and outcomes
- How to write good SMART outcomes
Each lesson will take approximately 20 minutes, you can work through at your own pace. You do not need to complete all of the lessons on the same day.
You will see from the menu on the left, the course includes six lessons and a survey. We recommend you complete all of them in order. The menu on the left will track your progress through the course. At the end, we will ask you to complete a final survey.
