This is a one-off bite size webinar from Research in Practice to explore how we can effectively work with stories and cultural genograms in our work.
Stories are at the heart of what we do - listening to them, interpreting them, and (most importantly of all) supporting children and families to make sense of their own stories. But stories are not only individual – they belong to cultures and communities. Cultural genograms can help us to work positively with these narratives.
This session will look at some of the research around stories and cultural genograms in social care, and give some practical tips on how we might make the most of them in our work.
