HCA - Signs of Safety 2-day introduction course

This course is aimed at social workers and social care practitioners.

This 2-day course is an introduction to the Signs of Safety approach.

The course covers:

-The SOS mapping process

-Danger, Safety, Goals and Judgement

-Danger Statements, Safety Goals and Safety Scales

-Direct work tools to engage children on their lived experience and develop a better understanding of harm and needs

-Building effective safety places

-Guiding principles of best practice
