HCA-Reg 24, viability assessment, Special Guardianship and placement with parents

This workshop will be facilitated by Hayley Grant,Service Manager for Children in Care and Sandy Bansil, Service manager Fostering and Adoption service. 

The Learning Outcomes are:

• to enhance understanding of Regulation 24 placements and legal framework around it
• to determine what are viability assessments and when to complete them
• To develop understanding of what makes a good viability assessment
• To understand the link between Regulation 24 and connected persons
• reflect on care planning and alternative options in relation to court proceedings
