HCA: Re-launch of the PLO and new supervision order guidance

The training session will be hosted by Stephanie Williams- Principal Lawyer & Lucia Johnson- Solicitor.

Aim of the training

For social workers to become familiar with:

1. The nature and purpose of the PLO.
2. The new Supervision Order guidance.

Learning objectives/outcomes:

1. To understand what the PLO is and its relevance to the social worker’s role
2. To understand the importance of compliance with court directions and what might happen in the event of non-compliance
3. To understand what legal require if you are seeking an extension of time to comply with court directions
4. To understand the new Supervision Order guidance
5. To be able to confidently and competently complete the new Supervision Order template required
