HCA Promoting Engagement with Fathers
Alison Smith, a Trauma Informed Domestic Abuse Consultant will be hosting an interactive Webinar for Haringey Council in response to the Governments Reducing Parental Conflict Programme which was launched in 2018. Alison has been delivering an enhanced version of the programme to multidisciplinary practitioners for three years and has observed some excellent practice. She has also identified significant gaps in service provision which are contributing to many of the re-referrals known as the revolving door. Alison has combined both her professional and personal experience of Destructive Co-Parenting to empower practitioners in becoming more confident when Engaging with Fathers.
