Child Protection Skills Training

Aimed at front line social workers.

This is a series of 2.5 hours training sessions incorporating child protection processes and statutory guidance on 4 themes:

1. Missing (11th March 2025 10:00-12:30)                                                                                                             
2. Sexual abuse and exploitation (10th April 2025 13:00-15:30)
3. Child with disability who makes a disclosure (6th May 2025 10:00-12:30)
4. Domestic abuse (17th June 2025 10:00-12:30)

The training sessions will be experiential, and will include applying the learning on to case scenario to help enhance your working knowledge and confidence in this area.

When applying for the first training session you will be enrolled for the 4 other sessions. We will send you calendar invites. Please accept them and block your diary for the training.

Please note that some sessions will be online, while others will be in person.
