CAPVA - Understanding the acronym in practice

This session will be hosted by Lead for Enfield Council, in partnership with Haringey Lead.

This course aims to facilitate an understanding of:

• Behaviours that constitute Child to Parent Violence or Abuse and the impact it has on families.
• Some of the risk factors that have or do influence the abuse taking place.
• An overview of Rise Mutual's intervention for CAPVA and APVA cases.
• Non-Violent Resistance as a positive intervention to families.
• Introducing the RISK ASSESSMENT tool developed as part of the Pilot.
